Australia’s powerhouse of country, roots & rock
NEW LIVE SINGLE OUT NOW
BREWN rework the Noiseworks classic
Touch
Brewn put their own road-tested country-rock stamp on the Noiseworks classic “Touch”, capturing the song’s big-hearted emotional pull through the grit, power, and crowd-lifting energy that has become central to the band’s live show.
The first single from Brewn’s forthcoming Loud & Live album, “Touch” was recorded on the Main Stage in Toyota Park at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, where the song has already proven itself as a fan favourite. For Brewn, it is more than just a cover — it is one of those songs the band genuinely loves playing, and one their audience leans into every time.
For lead singer Michael Bond, the connection goes right back to his youth.
“As a youngster, I’d just got my licence and drove into Sydney to watch Noiseworks, Boom Crash Opera and Chantoozies. That era of Australian live music really stayed with me.”
Known for blending country, roots and rock with a blue-collar Australian edge, Brewn bring Noiseworks’ late-’80s anthem into their own world: country meets classic rock, with big vocals, driving live-band energy, and the kind of familiar singalong spirit that only comes from a song road-tested in front of real crowds.
Their version honours the original while giving it the raw, live, pub-stage-to-festival-stage feel that defines Brewn. As the opening taste of Loud & Live, “Touch” sets the tone for a live album built on connection, sweat, volume, and the shared joy of a band and audience feeding off each other in the moment.

bREWN
Canberra’s own road‑tested powerhouse, Brewn, are as blue‑collar and battle‑hardened as Australian country rock gets. Known for their relentless touring schedule and high‑octane live shows, the band thrives on the grit, sweat, and pure joy of entertaining crowds wherever the highway takes them.
Blending Country, Roots, and Rock with unmistakable Aussie character, Brewn have carved out a sound that’s entirely their own—authentic, hard-hitting, and proudly unpolished. They don’t follow trends; they pave their own lane and drive it full throttle.
Frontman and guitarist Michael Bond leads the charge, joined by Anthony Barbara and Bob Harvey on guitars, John Barbara on drums, and James Cox holding down the low end on bass. Together, they deliver a wall of sound built on tight musicianship, raw energy, and a genuine connection with their audience.
Whether playing to hometown faithful or firing up a crowd on the other side of the country, Brewn consistently deliver shows that feel big, bold, and unforgettable. Their down‑to‑earth attitude and relentless work ethic have earned them a loyal following and a reputation as one of the hardest-working acts in the Australian music scene.
With every gig, Brewn reaffirm why they’re beloved across the nation—championing the spirit of rock, the heart of country, and the soul of everyday Australians with every chord they strike.
